I've started a second photography class. Week 1's assignment is due Wednesday and I am already feeling overwhelmed. Thankfully Caleb was willing to "pose" for a head-shot for me today and I didn't have to resort to bribery or arm twisting - he just walked outside and then actually smiled for some!

Brynn's birthday present from Nana and Papa. It is as long as she is!! But she loves it and for a girl who currently wants to be "an Army person" when she grows up, it is a good and safe option!

Our last day at the beach... the week flew by!!! Here is Price playing ladder ball for the millionth time. I will admit it is fun and addicting though my competitive children get a bit too celebratory and/or tantrum throwing at times.

I told Evan he could stay in the hot-tub longer if he let me take a few pictures! The hot-tub is a favorite for all our kids though with all of them plus others in one at a single time, the relaxation factor of it goes away quickly. They all think goggles are a hot-tub necessity just to paint a clearer picture!

Surf Girl Brynn in action. She thinks she can go out far in the ocean. One time when I called her back she said, "But Mom, I am six now!" as if turning six makes one swim like a lifeguard. LOL.

Caleb had his first swim meet today... a practice one. I didn't get any race pictures because I was timing a lane but this is Caleb pre-swimming with his two heat numbers "sharpied" on his hand. He did really well in both and that was exciting; he was SO nervous beforehand!

I love this picture because my nephew Josh's face makes me laugh... how thrilled is he to be the driver to five preschool through school age girls?!  I have to cover one of the girl's faces because I don't have permission to publish her picture but if I get it, I'll put the original up... trust me, she looks just as cute as the rest of the girls!

Twin day at TJES. Price dressed like 3 of his soccer teammates and Caleb dressed like a classmate.

One of Price's assignments was to make a bird between 6-10 inches long, markings, two moving pieces, all the body parts of a real bird, and a few hundred more requirements. In a group effort including Price, both parents, Grandpa, a friend Cameron, and a new friend Emily, "Cuckoo" the bird came to life. I love it!

After days of wiggling, Evan's first tooth came out today!

Brynn getting pumped up before her soccer game. It lasts until the initial whistle blows and then she forgets to run after the ball. I will say she did get her first goal ever today following a pass from Evan. She looked shocked at first, then cheered for a few minutes and had to be reminded to keep playing! Too funny!

Caleb giving me the "thumbs up" for sewing on his LL patch. He didn't volunteer to give me one; I had to ask but he did it and laughed about it so that worked for me!  I am not very good with a needle and thread so I told him he just might have to hold his arm crooked the rest of the season so the patch is straight AND that he it would only last through so many washings so he needed to get dirty as little as possible. I'm thinking he won't agree to those things!
